A

Action logs

A security feature available to Domain Admins that lists account access details for all collaborators.

Active

This refers to your status in imMail. From the green dot next to your name, your co-workers will know you’re active.

Administrator

They are responsible for managing the domain. The Admin is the person who has access to provide, revoke, and manage all the accesses among the organization.

API-Key

An API-Key is a key generated specifically for each domain to provide integrations between imMail and third-party systems.

Archive

When a group is no longer needed, you can archive it to close the group and clean up your conversation list.

Away

This refers to your status in imMail. Without the green dot next to your name, your co-workers will know you’re away.

Badge

The red circular shape with a number, found next to a group, user’s name, or the imMail app icon when you receive a notification. 

Billing Contacts

Billing-related messages are sent to billing contacts. This list of contacts includes all Domain Admins, but other members of the domain can be added if needed.

Calls

With imMail, you can make a voice or video conference and connect with anyone inside or outside your organization. 

Chats

The chat tab consolidates your private or group conversations.

Co-Host

A co-host is someone who receives a host role from the primary host of the video conference.

You can upload your company logo to the imMail home screen.

Compose

A button where you can click to format your messages to send to one or more recipients.

Copy

You can copy and paste folders and files among conversations and drive.

Cut

You can cut and paste folders and files among conversations and drive.

Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

A software product that enables customers managing sensitive or regulated data to meet their obligations through routine exports and other management of protected data.

Display Name

A person’s first and last name listed in their profile.

Downtime

Downtime is based on two factors: the number of minutes imMail was unavailable, and the percentage of customers that were affected. If one of imMail services is down, the Domain Admin can see it on the “Service Status” on “Domain Management”

Drive

A file storage service which allows you to store and share your files and folders on imMail cloud.

eDiscovery

A software product that enables customers managing sensitive or regulated data to meet their obligations through routine exports and other management of protected data.

Email notification

By default, you’ll get email notifications if you’ve been invited to join imMail by someone.

Emoji

Emojis are a handy way to add additional depth and meaning to your messages. The emoji you see in imMail will reflect the library we use to provide emoji options. If you are a MacOs user, you can also open an emoji library by pressing control+command+space.

Emoji reaction

Quickly respond to any message on imMail with an emoji reaction. Reactions can be used for any purpose: checking off to-do items, showing excitement — and just for fun.

Free plan

You can use imMail up to 5 users for free, but if you need imMail to serve a greater team,

we offer two paid plans: Standard and Enterprise.

Full name

The user’s full name is shown on their profile. Your full name is always shown to everyone who is chatting with you on imMail.

Group

Groups are spaces for all the people, tools, and files you need to complete work in imMail. You can create groups for all organization or departments, topics, and projects to bring order and manage your work better. 

Group Details

Group details provide information about a group, such as its topic, description, and a list of admins and other members who have joined it.

Group List

A list of your groups can be found under the “Groups” tab on the left side of your imMail Web screen.

Group Management

Administrators can choose who can archive, add and remove members from groups.

Group Settings

A menu found in “Groups” allowing you to invite new members, search content, mute, or leave the channel.

Guest

There are two types of guest roles available in imMail. The first one is an invitee who receives an invitation to join imMail with a personal email address. The second one is someone you invite to join a video conference.

Host

A video conference host is the owner of the video conference room, usually the one who generates the video conference link.

imMail-bot

imMail-bot is a built-in bot in imMail.

Invoice

A commercial document between imMail and a customer that outlines the terms of sale, and provides information on how to make payment.

Message field

The message field is where you type and send messages in groups or private conversations.

Message retention & deletion

By Default, imMail keeps all of your messages for the lifetime of your domain.  If you’d like, and to accomplish GDPR rules, you can have them deleted.

More actions

Hover over any message and the more actions menu will appear on the right. From there, reply, forward, or create a task.

Notification

imMail notifications keep you informed about things that need your attention. 

Notification preferences

You can customize your notification preferences for web/desktop, mobile, and specific groups, or private conversations from any device.

Organization Admin

Org Admin is a type of role in imMail, specifically who manages organization permissions and profiles, access, and administrative settings for an organization.

Paper clip icon

The paper clip icon on the right side of the conversation field is used to add media or files to a group or private chat.

Priority

You can assign a priority to a task.

Profile

Your profile helps coworkers learn more about who you are. By default, everyone can add the following to their profile: a name, job description or title, department, phone number, and date of birth.

Screen sharing

During a video conference, you may present your screen or allow others to do it. 

Using search in imMail, it’s easy to come back to the right messages and files when you need to. Use the search field to find your content inside messages or files.

Search field

The search field is where you go to find information in your workspace.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Our Service Level Agreement (SLA) is for customers, at a minimum of the enterprise plan, that guarantees a 99.8% monthly uptime. 

Service Status

A monitor that shows the status of each one of imMail services. Available only for Domain Admins.

Session duration

During a video conference call, you can view the session duration at the top of the screen.

Single sign-on (SSO)

SSO is a process that permits someone to enter their name and password from one system to access their account in an imMail domain, without needing credentials for imMail.

Task

You can create and assign tasks for you and other users in imMail.

Task deadline

You can assign a deadline to a task.

U

Unarchive

You can unarchive a private or group chat that has previously been archived.

Uptime

Monthly Uptime is the percentage of total possible minutes imMail was available. 

V

Video calls

Talk or video conference in imMail.

Voice Message

Send voice messages in a private or group chat.

Video conference history

Admin users can access the information about the video conference sessions closed or in progress.
